A Night Under the Stars - Fundraising for Look Good Feel Better

Wigs by Haircreations has been supporting Look Good Feel Better (LGFB) since its beginning more than 20 years ago. Look Good Feel Better offer over 250 free Feel Better Classes in local Communities across New Zealand that are open to anyone undergoing treatment for cancer. These classes offer you time away from the world of diagnosis and treatment to help face cancer with confidence.

On Thursday 8 November 2018, we supported LGFB once again by purchasing tickets for the “A Night Under the Stars” dinner and auction. This is Look Good Feel Better’s annual fundraising evening and proceeds will help fund free Feel Better Classes in the community. This ensures that any person, with any cancer, can access LGFB community-based programmes when they need it most. This fund raising event helps truly making a difference. “A Night Under the Stars” was really a special evening!

Look Good Feel Better: Facing Cancer with Confidence

LGFB teach you how to manage the appearance-related side-effects caused by cancer treatment which cover skincare, make-up and headwear demonstrations. Participants leave feeling empowered and ready to face their cancer diagnosis with confidence. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an outstanding experience with Wigs by Haircreations. From the very beginning, Cece was incredibly helpful, keeping me updated throughout the Ministry of Health funding process and always responding to my questions promptly. My consultation with Dani was the highlight. She made me feel completely at ease from the moment I arrived. She took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for, explained the different options without any pressure, and her knowledge and professionalism were obvious throughout. I left feeling genuinely listened to and confident that we'd found the right solution. What impressed me even more was the level of care throughout the process. There was an unavoidable delay due to a personal family emergency, but Cece kept me informed, communicated openly, and I never felt forgotten. Despite everything they had going on, they still made me feel like a priority, which says a lot about how much they care about their clients. For something that can be quite a personal and emotional experience, Dani approached everything with kindness, empathy and warmth. I walked away thinking, "That was one of the best customer service experiences I've had in a long time." I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Wigs by Haircreations to anyone looking for expert advice and genuinely caring service.
