NZ Alopecia is a non for profit charity created to help support people struggling with Alopecia, help educate people about Alopecia, and bring awareness to the condition.
This year NZ Alopecia is hosting their first ever Alopecia Kids Camp at Glentui on the 21-23 October. This is to give young people with Alopecia an environment where the can be themselves (wig or no wig) have fun, and make connections with others to help normalize Alopecia. Substantial fundraising has meant all youth with Alopecia can attend the camp for free with adult caregivers just paying a small fee of $20 per day to help towards food costs. There are many activities already confirmed, with more to come, including abseiling, archery tag, team building, swimming pool, scavenger quest, and indoor games. There is also a pool if the weather behaves! 🤞
The camp is open to any children who have Alopecia along with their siblings.
