Look Good Feel Better (LGFB) New Zealand on the Move…. Fabulous Project on mobile workshops!
LGFB provides free workshops for people with any cancer and will use the container as a mobile base for free “Feel Better” classes in areas of the country they have not previously been able to support.
Watch to the interview of Clare O’Higgins, General Manager of LGFB and Kelly who fought and survived her grade 3 cancer on Breakfast TV on 31 March 2016.
Look Good Feel Better’s “On the Move” campaign – is certainly a unique and ambitious project where will be hitting the road in a specially modified shipping container to help New Zealanders who are living with the grueling side effects of cancer treatment.
The 40 foot container – named Look Good Feel Better On the Move – will start its journey on April 12 with the first workshop in Timaru. It then heads back up country calling in at 20 other towns and cities before ending up back in Auckland in July for Feel Better Month, for our annual awareness and fundraising campaign. The container has been decorated with the LGFB trademark butterflies and modified inside to accommodate workshop participants with the addition of comfy couches, tables and chairs, storage, and floor to ceiling mirrors.
