Look Good Feel Better
Look Good Feel Better (LGFB) is a free service offered to women undergoing cancer treatment. LGFB helps restore and enhance the appearance of cancer patients during and after chemotherapy or radiotherapy or any other treatment. They aim to put a smile on the face of every woman, man or teenager. It is endorsed by the Cancer Society of New Zealand. LGFB provide support, guidance and free makeover workshops at a difficult time in a woman’s life.
Wigs by Haircreations and all its Wig Consultants nation wide participate in all LGFB workshops, and provide expert advice to help women, men and teenagers making the right choice for their new hair or headwear. We demonstrate wigs for women and wigs or toupees for men. While we can talk about the workshops l think this recent clip from TV3 Firstline with the participants shows what really happens. We are also a generous donor and sponsor to help further the development of this program. This year over 3,000 women and teens participated in the LGFB workshops.

The Cancer Society of New Zealand is dedicated to reducing the incidence of cancer and ensuring the best cancer care for everyone in New Zealand.
It is the leading cancer patient advocate, providing a voice on issues including cancer detection and treatment. It also provides support for people with cancer and their caregivers, research funding, and public information on cancer. It is an independent charity, relying on public donations and fundraising efforts such as Daffodil Day.
Wigs by Haircreations works closely with the Cancer Society and with hospitals, arranging consultations in hospital for those too unwell to visit our agents.
